Mr. Joram Onsare is the Managing Director of ABC Capital Limited. He is a seasoned financial services executive and strategic leader with over 15 years experience in banking, investments, and insurance across East Africa. He currently serves as a Board Member of the ABC Capital Limited, bringing over a decade of expertise in business transformation, investment management, and operational strategy.
He has played a key role in driving the Group’s growth and consolidation across its subsidiaries — ABC Bank Kenya, ABC Capital, ABC Insurance Brokers, and ABC Capital Bank Uganda — guiding strategic initiatives that have strengthened profitability, operational efficiency, and digital innovation. Mr Onsare is known for his results-driven approach and strong governance acumen that has successfully led complex restructures, fundraising programs, and market expansion projects, including spearheading the Group’s transformative investment ventures in manufacturing and financial services.
He holds a Global Executive MBA from the United States International University–Africa and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Economics from the University of Nairobi, Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) alongside professional certifications in financial analysis, financial modelling, and investments. As a Board Member, Joram continues to champion sustainable growth, sound governance, and value creation at ABC Capital and across the Group’s diverse financial ecosystem.
