Mr. Kevin Kamemba has over 14 years’ experience investing in the SSA private equity space across multiple sectors. He has spent the last 5 years in the financial inclusion space also sitting on the boards of various financial institutions. Kevin was a Principal Investment Officer and Head Africa at Women’s World Banking Asset Management, where he was responsible for structuring and managing private equity investments in financial service providers in Africa with the goal to improve women’s financial inclusion and gender diversity in the financial service industry.
Prior to joining Women’s World Banking, he was the Regional Director Africa at Incofin IM, a USD 1.3 billion impact asset manager), and prior to that was the Investment Director at Ascent Capital a sector agnostic Private Equity Fund Manager focused on East Africa. Kevin also worked with Centum Investment a listed Private Equity Company that made several private equity and real estate investments across SSA. Kevin holds a B.A. Economics degree from University of Nairobi. He is a CFA and CAIA Charter holder and also completed his CPA.
